What is covered under insurance?

• It applies to Autism PDD, NOS, and Asperger Syndrome
• No age limit
• Autism does not need to be primary diagnosis

Who does not have to fund?

• Medi-cal
• Private insurance without mental health coverage
• Employers that are “Self-Insured”

Intervention must include:

• Must be evidence-based, measurable goals, individual and reviewed at least every 6 months.
• Service type
• Number of hours
• Parent participation
• Frequency of evaluations and reporting Denials
