In-Home Early Intervention Therapy and Community Services
When a child has problem behaviors, in-home behavior therapy may be prescribed by your pediatrician or family doctor.
In-home therapy concentrates on working with the child in the family home environment and community. The child develops skills of independence, increased opportunities to interact directly with the family structure and siblings. Working together as a team, we develop the tools that are essential to build skills that will lead to success and independence.
Applied Behavior Analysis of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior (Bear, Wolf & Risley, 1968; Sulzer-Azaroff & Mayer, 1991).
